This past week, SCORE proudly partnered with OnWatch TV to support and celebrate women in leadership, business, and community service at the 3rd Annual Queendom Awards—an elegant evening of recognition, empowerment, and purpose in the High Desert.
From honoring dynamic women to creating hands-on training opportunities for youth, the Queendom Awards became a powerful reflection of SCORE’s mission in action: uplifting communities through access, opportunity, and storytelling.
Celebrating the Queens in Our Community
The Queendom Awards was a night of glam and gratitude—featuring a red carpet experience, catered dinner, and stunning performances, including an unforgettable set by FistatoDaSky recording artist, Mirrajje. Her soulful voice brought emotion and electricity to the event, helping to amplify the atmosphere of celebration.
SCORE joined in to show love and support for the powerful women being honored, while also sharing our own story with the guests, vendors, and partners in attendance.
“Name Your Price” Campaign Puts Local Businesses in the Spotlight
Our SCORE interns were front and center, working the event as part of their community engagement and media training experience. These young professionals were tasked with meeting every vendor, managing relationships, and offering a special opportunity: our “Name Your Price” Ad Creation Campaign.
Several vendors signed up on the spot to have professional video ads created by SCORE’s film and media interns. These ads were shot, edited, and delivered during the event—many receiving public praise and strong feedback from attendees and the clients themselves. The vendors were stunned by the quality and generosity, and our interns left the event with real-world media credits and elevated confidence.
Let’s Chew The Gum: Season X Premieres Live from the Event
Adding to the evening’s significance, Dr. Tayari Kuanda, Founder of SCORE and CEO of OnWatch TV, launched Season 10 of his dynamic podcast, Let’s Chew The Gum—a show that investigates everything from community activism to literature, celebrity interviews, student voices, and more.
The night also featured the official reveal of the podcast’s bold new logo, symbolizing a new era of growth and influence for the series.
Dr. Kuanda welcomed SCORE Program Manager, Tianna Phipps, as guest host and Kameron Pyant of the BLU Educational Foundation as guest associate for the OnWatch/SCORE booth. Their outstanding work made the Season X premiere one of the most memorable episodes yet, featuring live interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and special appearances—including a powerful conversation with Mirrajje.
The podcast is now available across all major platforms and streams globally on OnWatch TV's channels via Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and VIDAA TV.
A New Digital Home for SCORE
At the event, SCORE also unveiled its newly redesigned website—a platform built to better serve students, donors, educators, and community partners. Visitors can now easily register for events, apply for scholarships, volunteer, or donate to support our mission.

Purpose, Passion & Progress
Inspired by Dr. Kuanda’s own journey of overcoming homelessness as a teen, the SCORE Scholarship Fund was also front and center. Guests were invited to learn about the fund and how it supports struggling students working to complete their education and build brighter futures.
SCORE also used the Queendom platform to promote the upcoming June 7 Domino Tournament & Car Show at Victor Valley College, recruiting vendors, players, and sponsors for this vital fundraising event.
